Justivo is an AI legal information service. Its answers on Estonian law rest not on the model's memory but on the official statute texts and the courts' practice, and two separate checkers review them before they are sent.
What the answers are based on
Estonian acts and the Constitution (official texts of the versions in force, from Riigi Teataja): 601
Government and minister regulations: 3 061
Regulations of the largest municipalities (Tallinn, Tartu, Narva, Pärnu and others): 3 913
Supreme Court (Riigikohus) positions, linked to the sections of the acts: 23 602
Court decisions of all instances (statistics of how courts apply a section): 564 175
Acts and regulations are refreshed every Sunday and on the 1st of each month, Supreme Court decisions weekly.
How an answer is checked
Before answering, the system finds the sections your case turns on and gives the model their official text and the Supreme Court's positions on them.
Citation check: every cited section is compared with the official text; a wrong number, deadline or amount is corrected before sending (in the chat, as a follow-up clarification).
Completeness check: the answer is compared with verified notes on the topic (deadlines, exceptions, where to turn, costs); anything decisive that is missing is added.
A lawyer when you need one
If you wish, you can hand your case to a partner lawyer right in the app: they receive the brief in Estonian, the analysis and the documents and answer you in the same case.
Limits
This is legal information, not legal advice, and it does not replace a lawyer. For other countries we don't have our own law library yet — there, answers rely on searching official sources. In criminal cases, for large amounts or close deadlines, see a lawyer.
